The Design-Build Approach

Design-Build is not a new idea.
It is a process that was embraced by some of the world’s Greatest civilizations.
In ancient Greece
MASTER BUILDERS were engaged to both design and construct the great temples and public buildings.
Master builders accepted full responsibility for integrating conceptual design with functional performance all the while staying within the constraints of the
MASTER BUDGET. To assume anything less than complete accountability for delivering a project was unthinkable.

Benefits of the Design-Build approach

Not Reinventing the Wheel
Our design/build approach has a
great history. It closes the knowledge and communication gap between the designer and contractor. The result: Your renovation project moves from concept through to completion seamlessly enabling you to focus on the decision making process rather than mediating between a designer and contractor.

Budget
We build what we design and therefor have
working knowledge of the real costs involved. Whether your budget is large or small, we will work with you, guiding you through the process to get the most satisfaction from your hard earned dollars.

Accountability
We are the
"go to guy" for all your questions and concerns. Whether it be a question about design, plumbing, electrical, cabinets or engineering, you only have to ask us.

Cost vs. Value

Do you know what the current costs are for various renovation projects?

Cost vs Value
It's not uncommon for many clients to be first time remodelers and not have knowledge of the investment required to complete various renovation projects. It's also good to know how much of your investment could be recouped when the home is sold.

Below are a few common types of remodeling projects with an average price range for Portland and the Pacific Northwest. These figures come from "Remodeling Magazine", a professional trade publication to the Remodeling industry.

Remodeling Magazine publishes this
"Cost vs. Value" report every year and includes a breakdown by region and major city. The report includes full descriptions of what is included in each type of project, (the scope), along with two levels for the projects, (mid-range & upscale). The value of each project is given as well as costs recouped when the home is sold.

If you would like a copy of the Portland report, just email us at
info@StanleyHomeRenovation.com and we'll be happy to share it with you.
